Dr. Vennus Zand is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy in Irvine with over 8 years of practice experience. She has successfully helped many individuals, couples, families and adolescents throughout Orange County cope with a variety of mental health problems. She provides family therapy, couples therapy, individual therapy, adolescent therapy, adult therapy and more.
Her experience working at youth shelters has provided her the opportunity to effectively work with youth experiencing issues including; bullying, disruption during class, ADHD, social anxiety, drugs & alcohol, sibling relational issues, blended families, LBGT (lesbian, bisexual, gay, and transgender), and much more.
Through her work at Counsel on Aging Dr. Zand helped address the social and psychological challenges faced by elder adults. She has effectively treated elder adults with issues related to bereavement, chronic illness, isolation, depression, life transitions, anxiety, loss of a pet and sexual identity. Through Orange County Family Therapy, Dr. Zand helps her clients work through various challenges and helps foster personal growth.
Dr. Zand has experience working with patients and families experiencing hardships related to personality disorders, schizophrenia and mood disorders. Her work at non-profit centers presented her with the opportunity to provide therapy to help adolescents and adults that experienced trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
In her work at West Anaheim Medical Center's inpatient psychiatric unit, Dr. Zand collaborated with a team of psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to provide intensive care to patients with schizoeffective disorder, borderline personality, schizophrenia, and other psychosis related diagnosis.
Through Orange County Family Therapy, Dr. Zand provides relationship therapy to couples. She understands that marriages and romantic relationships can suffer from communication problems, power struggles, sexual dissatisfaction and infidelity among other sources of discontent. Dr. Zand works with couples to help restore respect, improve communication and rekindle romance.
In 2016 Dr. Vennus Zand received her Doctorate in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Irvine. In 2017 she published her research on the coming out process.
Dr. Mai-Han Dinh (pronounced My-Hon Din) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her B.A. at UC-Santa Barbara and M.A. and Psy.D. from Alliant International University. She has been providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds since 2010. She believes that everyone, with the right support, can overcome life's challenges and build resiliency. Her effectiveness in treatment stems from extensive training in evidence-based theories, knowledge neuroscience and its implication on mental-wellbeing, and ability to adapt it to each client’s and system’s unique circumstances.
As a 1.5 generation Vietnamese-American immigrant, Dr. Dinh recognize that finding the balance between the generations (traditions and need for growth) can vastly improve relationships within the family and therefore, improve mental well-being.

Amy is a certified equine facilitated learning coach and equine behavioral specialist. Her expertise is in horse communication and behaviors. She teaches humans how to communicate with horses the way horses communicate with each other. She has been working with Horses for over 10 years and began her equine coaching career in 2017.
Her love of horses started at a very young age. As an equine coach and behavior specialist, her goal is to bring horses and people together to learn from each other in a therapeutic environment for personal growth.
In 2023 Amy will be joining the Eagala coaching certification program to continue her equine facilitated learning coach education. Eagala - Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association - is the global standard for psychotherapy and personal development incorporating horses. By enrolling in this national and internationally recognized organization, she looks forward to expanding her knowledge, experience and expertise to help patients connect with these majestic animals. Her love of horses continues to be fostered by each amazing interaction and experience she has with them as they are her greatest teacher!
